Position Overview
We're seeking a Control Theory Expert to join our team and develop advanced control systems for autonomous drones. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing PID controllers, neural network controllers, and other advanced control algorithms that enable precise navigation, stability, and autonomous behavior in our AI drone systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement PID controllers for drone stability and navigation
- Develop neural network-based control systems for autonomous behavior
- Create advanced control algorithms for complex flight maneuvers
- Implement adaptive control systems for varying environmental conditions
- Design robust control systems for fault tolerance and safety
- Optimize control parameters for performance and efficiency
- Collaborate with software and hardware teams on system integration
- Validate control systems through simulation and real-world testing
Requirements & Qualifications
Essential:
- Strong background in control theory and systems engineering
- Experience with PID controller design and tuning
- Knowledge of neural networks and machine learning for control
- Understanding of dynamic systems and state-space modeling
- Experience with control system simulation and analysis
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, or similar tools
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Preferred:
- Experience with autonomous vehicle or drone control systems
- Background in robotics or aerospace control
- Knowledge of reinforcement learning for control
- Experience with real-time control systems
- Understanding of fault-tolerant control design
- Experience with hardware-in-the-loop testing
