Position Overview

We're seeking a Machine Learning Expert to join our team and push the boundaries of AI for autonomous drones. Our vision is to build an end-to-end neural network that can control the drone and solve complex tasks such as localization, flight control, decision making, obstacle avoidance, and more. You'll work on training and deploying advanced ML models for real-world robotics, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to bring cutting-edge research into production.

Key Responsibilities

Research, design, and train advanced ML models for drone perception and autonomy
Develop end-to-end neural network architectures for drone control
Apply reinforcement learning to real-world robotics problems
Work on tasks such as localization, flight control, decision making, and obstacle avoidance
Collaborate with computer vision, software, and hardware teams
Deploy and optimize models for edge devices
Publish research and contribute to the scientific community

Requirements & Qualifications

Essential:

Solid publication record or equivalent hands-on results
Experience with transformers and neural network architectures
Proficiency in PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar frameworks
Experience with model optimization and deployment
Strong understanding of deep learning fundamentals
Experience with large-scale model training
Knowledge of computer vision and natural language processing

Preferred:

PhD (or candidate) in ML, robotics, or AI
Experience with autonomous systems and robotics
Knowledge of edge computing and model compression
Experience with vision-language models and multimodal AI
Background in reinforcement learning or control theory
Publications in top ML/AI conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, etc.)
